Phishing Emails Awareness and Guidance

We have recently been made aware by a number of correspondents that they have seen an increase in the number of phishing emails claiming to be sent from NorthStandard’s US office from the domain north-standard.us. Consequently, we wanted to issue a reminder to our members to be extra vigilant and cautious when receiving emails.

We would therefore like to take this opportunity to provide you with some helpful guidance on how to identify and avoid phishing email scams.

To ensure that ongoing correspondence from NorthStandard is recognised as secure and genuine, please pass this notification on to your IT departments and ask for the following domains to be added to your organisation’s safe list

Domains	Typical use
@north-standard.com / @nepia.com / @standard-club.com	Our primary email domains used for general day to day correspondence from your NorthStandard contacts and NorthStandard circulars.
@mail.north-standard.com	NorthStandard newsletters, event invitations and marketing emails.
@standardclub.com	Standard Club, part of NorthStandard circulars.
